Our 7th Annual Gala will be held on Tuesday, March 31st 2020 to raise awareness for our mission of bringing yoga and mindfulness techniques to under represented individuals and groups. We believe by offering these tools we can support these individuals in recognizing their own power for positive change.
We are thrilled to honor Brandice Daniel, the CEO of Harlem’s Fashion Row at this years Gala!
Brandice is a leader in our community who’s work fully aligns with our mission and vision. Brandice has channeled her passion for the fashion industry while advocating for under represented designers, specifically those of color and diverse backgrounds. Her vision for inclusivity in the world of fashion has developed over the 10 years since starting her brand, and has led to major partnerships with other leaders like Lebron James and their collaboration on the first Lebron Nike shoe for women, designed by women.
We recognize a parallel with what we are accomplishing here at THAY in Brandice’s efforts of representing overlooked communities and individuals, and admire her strength and authenticity. It is with these same principles we have partnered with organizations like Services for the Underserved, where we work with women facing homelessness and offer tools to help them reach their full potential.
