Three and a Half Acres Yoga is committed to serving members of the NYPD who police our community. Every week, we offer yoga fitness for NYPD officers to de-stress, get strong and bring a sense of balance and flexibility to their lives. Our goal is to teach the body and mind to address sensations of stress, fear, and anger and slow down and observe instead of reacting. This physical shift can become instinctual through practice, allowing time for reason, empathy, and tolerance to guide decision making. At THAY, it’s important to us to connect NYPD officers with the mindfulness and inner freedom that yoga brings.
