We hope this message finds you well during this difficult time.  As you know our annual ‘Celebrate Harlem’ gala has been postponed due to COVID-19.  However, we want to still celebrate Harlem in a different way by supporting our local Harlem restaurants as we know they have been hit the hardest.  We have gathered a list of ways you can support these businesses below.  We look forward to a time in the near future when we can share each others company at one of these unique and classic spots!

Restaurants you can support!

Harlem Food Bar is open Monday-Saturday from 3-8pm for carryout only.  Orders may be placed directly on their website or by phone at 212-222-9570.  Owner Scott Siler says “Come by, grab your HFB favorite and a cocktail to go!”

Our Women Who Wow host venue Sylvia’s is open for take out and delivery via Postmates, DoorDash, UberEats (no fee for all pickup orders through the app) and Takeout.  Please call 212-996-0660 to order prior to arrival. Family-Style orders and drinks available! Visit their Instagram @sylviasrestaurant for updates.

Levain Bakery’s Harlem location is up and running and they offer a contactless delivery.  You can order directly from the site by calling, or use caviar.  Pick up is also available.

Our usual host venue for our gala The Red Rooster Harlem has been converted temporarily to help bring meals to the community.  Chef Marcus Samuelsson has teamed up with the World Central Kitchen to provide free meals to Harlem folks that may need it.  You can donate to the WCK on their site.

Harlem icon Melba Wilson was featured on 60 Minutes discussing the hardships she has faced with her restaurant Melba’s Kitchen.  You can order for take out and delivery via Seamless.

Lion Lion Bar is delivering bottles of premade cocktails!  Drinks like
Coco Exotic, Paloma’s and even beers!  Message them on instagram @lionlionbar to place your order.

67 Orange Street is offering their cocktail experience at home!  Delivering punches and cocktail kits and each purchase comes with their homemade soup!

RDV and Cafeine have also closed their doors until further notice, and you can support them through a gift certificate here, or contribute to their gofundme.

Sottocasa is offering takeout and delivery still!  If you purchase a bottle of wine they will throw in a free margherita pizza!

Lido Restaurant has temporarily closed, you can support their gofundme fundraiser here.
